The ?Save Our Cedar? campaign was successful in securing a temporary Tree Preservation Order (TPO) back in March, but this is now due to expire. On 1 August South Cambs District Council Planning Committee will meet to decide whether to make the TPO permanent or to allow the trees to be cut down. These magnificent trees form the backdrop to Little Gransden and many villagers have strong emotional ties going back generations. The Cedar tree dominates the view along the road joining our villages. Time is short to save them. If you would like to help us to save these magnificent trees for the Gransdens, please consider taking one or more of these actions: 1.
