[Announce] Tree on Christ's Pieces under threat

Dear All,

unfortunately we've heard more bad news. The Council is consulting 
over the future of a mature chestnut tree on Christ's Pieces. The 
tree is near the tennis courts & King St.

It has been diagnosed with bleeding canker and this is judged to be 
apparently sufficiently advanced to make the tree unviable.

Matthew Magrath is the tree officer and this Thursday July 25th is 
the last day to object.
