Members and friends may be interested in this Cambridge Natural 
History Society Meeting on Chalk streams:

CNHS lecture meetings continue on Thursday, November 14, with a talk 
by Ruth Hawksley on Chalk streams and their management. Ruth is Water 
for Wildlife Officer for the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and 
Northamptonshire Wildlife Trust, and will talk about chalk streams 
and how to ensure they provide good habitats for the wildlife that 
lives in and alongside them. The talk starts at 7:30 pm in Room 
LAB027 on the ground floor of the Lord Ashcroft building of the 
Anglia Ruskin University Campus on East Road. Enter ARU through the 
main entrance and continue down the corridor; the lecture room is on 
your left. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided from 7:00pm. All 
welcome - non members one pound.
