Dear Friends and RA members
You may have seen coverage of the proposed extensive development of West 
Cambridge. This might well include East Paddock.
In our capacity as conduit of information, Alex Reid has asked me to 
forward information about an idea for a public park as a better 
alternative to building over the paddock in front of the School of 
Zoology, where the School kept its horses. Alex points out that there 
would be no substantial area of green space amid all the buildings, and 
a better use of it would be to create a public park as an amenity for 
those living and working on the site. A precedent is already set by 
North West Cambridge.
