SOS support her concerns over increased traffic and speeds. Also, we maintain that the green spaces are primarily that, and should not be sacrificed as a cheap-skate alternative to improving the road network to ensure it is safe for all users. Thursday 24th September 14.30?16.00 Tuesday 29th September 12.30?14.00 Saturday 3rd October 10.30?12.00 Policy 15 in the draft Local Plan includes the potential to open this currently private site for quiet recreation. Preliminary ideas about the opening of the lakes are likely to be discussed at the following Area Committee Meetings: o South Area Committee 5 October o East Area Committee meeting 29 October The guided walks are intended to give members of the public an opportunity to get a better understanding of the lakes, so that they can give well informed opinions on the proposals. I thought you might like to promote this to pupils and parents.
