[Discuss] Barbecues - a burning issue

May I ask of whom did you ask permission?  Also, how did you avoid 
burning the ground, surely only a pair of bricks under a bbq tray 
would stop damage, the flimsy legs sometimes used on the disposable 
units would surely still result in scorching the grass, or were you 
using a larger unit?

Can we agree that as a matter of principle, the law as it stands 
should be enforced; if it is decided at some point to change it, then 
that is another matter.
