Did he (N-S) save the trees in Milton Road?

There was a clever plan of cutting the trees but leaving stumps, 
thereby holding onto the sites for replacements.  I think the 
indecision over the trees was to do with the Gilded [sic] Bus 
planning blight.  I think the County gave up on the idea of improving 
the journey time of the on-street running in Milton Road.
