I saw your letter about my screed - thank you for your kind comments. The

aim was merely to get people to take a sceptical view of what the Council

Officers say ! A bigger document is being prepared as a counterweight to

Oviatt-Ham but this will take some time.<br><br>

I do know Oliver as we both shared a room for many years in the Botany

School (now Plant Sciences) but haven't spoken to him for 10 years. Your

contacting him about planes has spurred me to ask him about the proposals

too - for that, thanks.<br><br>
