Dear all,<br><br>
Based upon suggestion and ideas pages of one of our members, CambridgePPF
and its Heritage Working Group has been working hard over recent years to
better understand the history and issues of this delightful building
situated at the edge of the city and start of the countryside upstream of
the River Cam and to the edge of Coe Fen. We are very keen to safeguard
the future of this heritage feature.<br><br>
In spring 2013 we have submitted a report to the Cambridge City Council
and eventually had a reply from the responsible local councillor - Andrea
Reiner on 1st November 2013 - extract:<br>

stretched to capacity at the moment, so I am afraid we are unable to move
forward with this project as you would like. I will raise this with
Adrian Ash (who is the interim head now that Toni has retired, as of last
week) to make sure this project is on his radar for the future, but I am
sorry that I cannot commit to move forward on this now.<br>

working as you suggest, but I also must be realistic about the team's
capacity at this time."<br>

<font face="Calibri">On 12 March 2014 I have briefly met Cllr Reiner who
welcomed to have a meeting to further discuss the folly. Hopefully this
can happen in due course.This has now been arranged for early June
2014.</font><br>

In summer 2014 CambridgePPF hopes to hold an open day at the folly with
questionnaires etc to better understand which options of restoration and
improvements people like to see and gather further knowledge of the
building within its wonderful secluded garden ideas and support for
restoration works to the building and garden.<br><br>
As a local Charity we hope to be able to help the Council with achieving
funding, grants, gathering in kind voluntary work etc. <br><br>
